@Leonidas: Man beachte die Zeitachse:
- Ende 2008: Python 3 wird veröffentlicht.
- Mitte 2009: PySide wird erstmals veröffentlicht (und PyQt unterstützt Python 3 bereits)
- Ende 2011: PySide unterstützt Python 3.
- Mitte 2012: wxPython unterstützt Python 3.
So kann man das nicht sagen.
Das Phoenix-Projekt hat bei 0 begonnen, evt. sogar ohne SWIG, d.h. von Grund auf neu. Ja ich weiß, PySide ist auch neu, allerdings von Nokia gesponsert, wxPython hat/hatte keinen solchen Sponsor und eigentlich nur einen Developer (evt. mit Andrea Gavana sind es zwei).

@Dav1d: PyQt hat auch nur einen Entwickler, der neben der Anbindung auch den Binding-Generator programmiert, was der wxPython-Entwickler nicht tun musste, da er eben diesen Binding-Generator namens SIP für Phoenix verwendet hat.
PySide hat zwar um die fünf Kernentwickler, aber die haben in vier Jahren auch die komplette Toolchain inklusive Binding-Generator entwickelt und auf Python 3 portiert.
