python mit ipv6

hiho...

bin stolzer besitzer einer synology diskstation DS211. tolles gerät, wollte nun subnzbd drauf packen und dann ein ipv6 server ansteuern. leider musste ich feststellen, dass ich keine python version (2.5, 2.7, 3.1) gefunden habe welche ipv6 unterstützung hat. sabnzbd läuft, soweit ich das erkennen konnte mit python v2.5, brauch aber für mein einsatzzweck eben ipv6. wie kann ich nun python v2.5 für mein DS211 (ARM cpu) mit ipv6 compilieren !? gibt es eventuell schon passende/fertige varianten dafür ?

Wie kommst du darauf, dass deine Python-Versionen kein IP v6 koennen? Ich hoffe du greifst dabei auf `socket.has_ipv6` zurueck.

Ansonsten ist IP v6 Support ein `./configure --enable-ipv6' entfernt.

habe mit "ipkg" nun python 2.5 installiert, wie kann ich da nun nachträglich ipv6 aktivieren ? wenn ich deine zeile im python 2.5 path versuche, kommt nur das hier:

vielleicht kannst du mir da noch ein paar infos zukommen lassen ?

Die Zeile ist Teil des Unix Dreisprungs:
`./configure --enable-ipv6 && make && make install' wobei du vor dem letzten Teil nochmal ueberlegen solltest, ob du damit wirklich das System-Python ersetzen willst. Dazu benoetigst du natuerlich den Python Source und musst im passenden Pfad sein.

Ohne neue Kompilierung wird das aber nichts.

Davor solltest du dich aber nochmal umschauen ob es nicht andere Pakete gibt, die den Support schon haben, wenn dir `./configure` noch nichts sagte.

habe kein problem python neu zu installieren... nur sabnzbd brauch python ansonsten war vorher kein python auf dem system. für mich nur die frage, reicht es einfach den source von python auf mein DS211 zu spielen und dort dann mit besagte komandozeile das ding zu compilieren? reicht es nur diesen ipv6-flag hinzuzufügen oder braucht es da noch mehr !? geschweige denn, wo installiert der mir dann das python hin ?

nachdem ich nun mir den source auf die ds211 kopiert habe und den gcc installiert hatte konnte ich

das ganze ist nun in diese richtung expandiert, dass mein recompile von python wohl kein threading unterstützt ? um es mal so zu sagen, ich habe mir auf meinem synology DS211 "ipkg" installiert, dann damit "sabnzbdplus" drauf gepackt. das damit in abhängigkeit stehende python 2.5 unterstützt aber leider kein IPv6. nun bin ich eben dabei also dabei mir selbst ein neues python zu compilieren was IPv6 unterstützung hat. das ganze habe ich nun auch hinbekommen:

./configure --enable-ipv6 --enable-unicode=ucs4
make
make install

danach hatte ich ein lauffähiges python mit ipv6. nur wenn ich mir diesem python nun sabnzbd starten will, bekomme ich diese meldung hier:

Schaue doch mal in das angemeckerte Verzeichnis ("/usr/local/lib/python2.5/") ob dort die threading.py existiert.
Auf meinem System habe ich die Datei unter "/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/" gefunden.
Kann sein das bei dir die Pfadangaben zu den lib Verzeichnissen falsch sind.

`./configure --help` gibt dir eine Uebersicht, fuer Threading brauchst du `--with-threads`. Was die Standardeinstellungen der gaengigen Pakete sind kann ich dir allerdings nicht sagen.

Das `thread`-Modul scheint es nicht zu geben, wobei eine fehlende Datei dafür kein Kriterium ist, denn das Modul ist in Python 2.6 zumindest ein "eingebautes" Modul. Das heisst wenn das Python mit Thread-Unterstützung kompiliert wurde, dann ist das Modul im Interpreter integriert und wird nicht aus einer externen Datei geladen.

Wenn das Modul nicht existiert, wurde vielleicht eine entsprechende Option beim ``configure``-Skript nicht angegeben oder die Headerdateien für die Threading-Bibliothek (auf Linux zum Beispiel die `libpthread`) waren nicht installiert.

Ich glaube du hast meinen Post falsch gedeutet oder ich habe mich falsch ausgedrückt In meinem ganzen Post geht es alleine um das threading Modul.

@JonasR: Ja und das muss wie gesagt existieren. Wäre komisch wenn der Interpreter in einem Nicht-Existierenden Modul sagen könnte was in dessen 6. Zeile eine Ausnahme auslöst, oder!? Die `threading.py` (oder *.pyc) versucht `thread` zu importieren. Das ginge nicht wenn sie nicht existieren würde.

Ja, jetzt hat er fertig konfiguriert, du musst nun ``make`` aufrufen, um Python zu bauen.

@skydiablo: `pthread.h` scheint gefunden zu werden:

Aber später wird dann überprüft ob ein paar wichtige Funktionen in der Bibliothek verfügbar sind, und da gibt es dann ``no``\s als Antworten:

Da müsste man jetzt weiterforschen warum das so ist. Sind eventuell zwar die Header installiert, aber nicht die Bibliothek selbst?

(Ich bin jetzt davon ausgegangen, dass Du Leonida's Rat gefolgt bist und im übersetzten Python immer noch kein `thread`-Modul vorhanden ist.)

kann mir vielleicht nun jemand weiter helfen was ich nun machen soll !? soll ich noch was per "ipkg" nach installieren ? wie würde die lib heißen ?

was hast du bei ipkg für eine Paket Datenbank zur Auswahl?

vll ist es ein Synology bug?

danke für den link auf das forum, per zufall bin ich dabei auf diesen post hier gestoßen:

dort wird das problem auch behandelt mit einem lösungsweg... ich werde dass mal die tage testen und dann hier auchnochmal report geben...

also ich muss sagen, nun konnte ich python wohl compelieren mit allem nötigen um sabnzb laufen zu lassen, leider kommt nun diese meldung hier:

darauf hin habe ich versucht sqlite zu installieren, leider wird keine installation erkannt ?

ipkg install sqlite2

oder

ipkg install sqlite

beides frisst er nicht (also wird installiert, aber wird von SABnzb nicht erkanns
jemand eine idee für mich !?
