Ich hatte genau das umgekehrte Problem. Alle offiziellen Beispiele von wxPython schreiben in so ein Fenster und sobald das Programm terminiert ist das Fenster auch weg. *grml*

redirect=False macht das Ganze zum Glück rückgängig.
