This is great news. I used to talk to my friend and tell him that gradually everyone would give up Java. Although I think that Node.js will soon become more popular from Python.
I wouldn't classify node.js as a programming language.Although I think that Node.js will soon become more popular from Python.
In direct comparison, when looking at backend frameworks for web applications only, node.js might be ahead already. But Python is used in such a big variety of other applications, as well that node.js doesn't stand a chance, in my book at least.
