Ihr hab es vielleicht mit bekommen, eine Alpha Version von Haiku ist draußen:

Ich hab die VMware Images mal mit VirtualBox probiert und siehe da, Python 2.6.2 ist auch mit dabei

Da man auch SVN bekommen kann, dachte ich mir Probiere ich mal django/pylucid aus und siehe da, es klappt. Siehe: http://www.jensdiemer.de/de/blog/37/beos-alias-haiku/

Hab mal wieder eine aktuelle "Nightly Image" von Haiku OS in virtualbox installiert.

Leider ist ein Python mehr dabei. Allerdings kann man es sehr einfach nach installieren:

Terminal öffnen: Tracker / Applications / Terminal
installieren mit installoptionalpackage Python

Dann wird von http://haiku-files.org/files/optional-packages/ die passende ZIP Datei gezogen und direkt installiert. Aktuell bekommt man dann ein Python 2.6.7
