The engine is written in C++ and Python; the tools are mostly in Python. In addition to the engine itself, we develop GUI editors (using wxPython) as well as automated testing tools for the engine. We also have our own in-house grid computing system for running distributed simulations on Windows and Linux, which we are in the process of revamping with web technologies like Django and RESTful APIs.
We're a small team, but our agile approach, test-driven development, and (of course) the amazing powers of Python help us develop a lot of cool stuff.
