Liebe Ihr!

Ich würde gerne eine Kombination von C++ und Python verwenden. Dabei habe ich gelesen, dass man mit Cython Pythoncode in C konvertieren kann. Ich habe es mal ausgetestet und habe 2+2 eingegeben. Doch leider kam nicht das dabei raus, was ich wollte - sondern ZU viel Text. Was mache ich falsch? Was soll ich tun um C++ Code mit Hilfe von Python zu erstellen? Vielen Dank schon mal im Voraus!

Darum ist eigentlich auch egal wie viele Versionsabhängige ``#define``\s und ``#if…``\s da drin sind oder ob auch nicht benutzte Hilfsfunktionen vorhanden sind die vom C-Compiler dann wieder wegoptimiert werden.

@Basilius Sapientia: Ich würde sagen ja, dazu sind die Sprachen viel zu unterschiedlich. In Python ist fast alles dynamisch, in C++ fast alles statisch. Die Compiler die es gibt erzeugen Quelltext der die C-API von CPython benutzt und da ist der Code den ein Mensch schreiben muss schon nicht schön, weshalb man ja zu so etwas wie Cython zurückgreift um sich nicht mit dem ganzen Boilerplate herum schlagen zu müssen.

Was hast Du denn genau vor, also warum denkst Du so etwas zu benötigen? Normalerweise schreibt man seinen Code in Python und wenn das an irgendeiner Stelle zu langsam ist, dann schreibt man diesen Teil in C oder C++ um oder bindet eine entsprechende Bibliothek ein die das Teilproblem schneller löst. Dafür kann man dann zum Beispiel Cython verwenden. Dazu muss man sich den C- oder C++-Quelltext der dabei erzeugt wird ja gar nicht anschauen.

Was hast Du denn genau vor, also warum denkst Du so etwas zu benötigen? Dafür kann man dann zum Beispiel Cython verwenden. Dazu muss man sich den C- oder C++-Quelltext der dabei erzeugt wird ja gar nicht anschauen.

OK schade. Ich mag, dass man nicht so viel in Python schreiben muss wie in C++. Doch dafür mag ich die Computergeschwindigkeiten [oder wie es genannt wird] bei C++ lieber. Da ich C++ "kann" [Jedenfalls ein bisschen] wäre es schön Pyhon mit C++ zu kombinieren. Deshalb dachte ich, dass man Python Code in C++ umwandeln könnte, wo man dann in C++ weiterarbeiten könnte (also den Code dann in C++ dann auch bearbeiten könnte).

Der oben gezeigte C Text ist einfach nur 2+2 mit Cpython erstellt. Würde ich den Code selber schreiben wäre er max 10 Zeilen lang und nicht 135. Aber OK ... dann gibt es leider keine Möglichkeit :/

BTW gibt es einen MatLab to Python converter? Wo man dann auch den Python code bearbeiten kann [also wo dann 2+2 in MatLab nicht gleich 135 Zeilen Python Code wird]?

@Basilius Sapientia: Dieser Wunsch Python in irgendwas zu übersetzen und das dann bearbeiten zu wollen ist irgendwie komisch. So etwas ist ganz generell keine gute Idee, computergenerierten Quelltext von Hand zu verändern. Noch mal: Was soll das bringen? Wenn Du die Geschwindigkeit von C++ willst dann schreib den Quelltext in C++ und binde das gegebenenfalls in Python ein. Oder lass Python halt weg und benutze nur C++. Ich glaube auch nicht das man bei ``2 + 2`` in C mit 10 Zeilen auskommt. Also ``2 + 2`` in reinem C zu schreiben schon, aber um ein Python-Erweiterungsmodul zu schreiben das zwei Python-`int`\s addiert ist dann doch schon ein wenig komplizierter als man das auf Anhieb vielleicht denken würde.

Bei Matlab stellt sich die gleiche Frage: Warum? Quelltext generieren ist in der Regel keine gute Idee, zumindest solange da irgendwas heraus kommen soll das ein Mensch lesen muss. Verändern schon gar nicht.

Edit: Das Beispiel ist, ähm, interessant weil für das 2+2 selber überhaupt gar kein Quelltext generiert wurde weil Cython offenbar festgestellt hat, dass das keinen Effekt hat. :-)

@Basilius Sapientia: Python und Matlab scheinen zwar auf den ersten Blick ähnlich zu sein. Die feinen Unterschiede machen es aber notwendig, hunderte Zeilen Boilerplate-Code drumherum zu schreiben, um exakt das selbe Verhalten zu simulieren.

So sähe das aus wenn man ein Python-Modul mit dem Inhalt ``test = 2 + 2`` von Hand in C schreiben würde. Für Python 2.7.

Zugegebenermassen deutlich kürzer als das was Cython erzeugt, aber doch noch deutlich länger als der Einzeiler in Python. Und auch nur für Python 2.7 bzw. ich glaube Python 2.3+.
