ipython autocomplete

hi,
ich wollte mir jetzt mal eine gescheite shell zulegen und ipython wird ja des öfteren empfohlen.
wichtig ist mit vor allem gutes autocompletion.
aus der doku:
"AB-completion, especially for attributes, is a convenient way to explore the structure of any object you’re dealing with. Simply type object_name.<TAB> "
geht leider nicht.
zb folgendes:
bei erscheint da nur ein TAB.
jemand ne idee?
die pyPe shell hat ja syntax-highlighting, finde ich auch ganz schick.
kann ipython das auch irgendwie?
